If you are in Playa del Carmen, you have to find the ADO bus terminal on 5th avenue to buy your ticket to get to Bacalar from Playa del Carmen. The approximate cost of the ticket is 430.00 MXN per person.
If you are in Tulum and want to go to Bacalar, you can also use the ADO shuttle service for an average cost of 286.00 MXN.
Buses
Another option to get to the city of Bacalar from Cancun, or from Playa or Tulum, are the colectivos. Although it is worth mentioning that since they are not "direct", if you want to go from Cancun to Bacalar, you will have to take 3 colectivos.
If you leave from Playa del Carmen to Bacalar, you will have to take two colectivos and if you leave from Tulum to Bacalar, you only have to take one colectivo.
The Playa Express colectivo, which costs 45.00 MXN, can be taken from downtown Cancun and its final destination is Playa del Carmen. In Playa del Carmen, you have to take the colectivo "Servicio de Transporte a Tulum", which costs 45.00 MXN.

Cab
