If you want to get there on your own, the most important thing is to draw a map and set the direction of the cenotes you want to visit, you can go by bus or bicycle, they are economical options, if you live outside the city you can go in rented cars or cabs.

El Gran Cenote is located about 3.5 kilometers from Tulum, on the road that goes to the Mayan ruins of Cobá, if you go by car, you must follow federal road 180 that goes to Valladolid and from there take a detour on the Chemax-Cobá road.

Upon arrival, you need to continue towards Quintana Roo on federal road 109 and be aware of the signs that will indicate that you have arrived at the Gran Cenote, if you wish to visit other cenotes you can join a tour that will guide you better.
