What are the activities and facilities in Xel-Ha?

Xel-Ha as such is a paradise for all snorkeling, diving and nature lovers. In fact, its main attraction is its reefs, rivers and seas. But of course, this does not mean that there are no things to do and see, so here we list them for you.

Snorkeling

The water in Xel-Ha is crystal clear, you will explore plenty of colorful fish and swim in a place where the dense sea water meets fresh water from the rivers. The water is very calm, so you can swim and snorkel very easily. The park provides you snorkel equipment, so you don’t need to bring your own!

River tour Xel-Ha

The park provides you single or double floating tires, to explore the Xel-Ha river. On your way you will find several activities to do: the Cliff of Courage, the jump of the Monkey… you will enjoy your calm river tour with a little bit of adventure!

Xel-Ha cave

The cave at Xel-Ha is a covered cenote. There is a hole in the cave so the sunlight can come in a bit. When swimming the sun can create impressive light shows in the water. Together with the echo in the cave, you will have a magical experience here!

Cliff of courage

It is already a challenge to climb the cliff first, but when you are on top of the cliff the challenge becomes even bigger. Do you dare to jump off the cliff in the refreshing water of the river?

Trepachanga

2 ropes placed horizontally above the river.. do you want to test your balance? Give it a try and find out if you can reach the other side of the river!

‘Salpichanga’ zip lines

Zip line from one side to the other side of the river! Can you make it to the other side or will you fall in the water? Let’s find out!

Children’s world

Xel-Ha is also a great place for children! There is a Children’s world with a paddling pool, playground with slides, water slides, rope climbing, a crocodile tunnel, water lilies and more! The kids can play here for hours. For that the park also thought about the parents. They can relax in hammocks right next to the playground!

Xel-Ha has a hammock area, an ATM machine, information centres, shops, lockers, restrooms, showers, water equipment, wifi and there are facilities for people with a disability, for example wheelchairs (rent at additional price) and the park is wheelchair friendly.

Price and opening hours

The park is an all inclusive park, so most activities and food and drinks (except from drinks with alcohol) are included. Also parking is included in the price. You can choose to do some other activities at a additional price (f.e. swimming with dolphins) or you can buy a combo package with another park (f.e. Xcaret).

Where to find adventure park Xel-Ha?

Xel-Ha adventure park is located 9km North of the archaeological site of Tulum. You will find Xel-Ha from the Highway 307 from Tulum to Cancun. When you are close to Tulum you will find the signs on the highway for adventure park Xel-Ha.
